Vegan Gardener

For Vegan Gardener, I chose to make a recipe called Golden Mushroom, Pea & Asparagus Risotto. The vegetables and herbs that I chose to grow in my garden were: asparagus, peas, onions, garlic, parsley and dill. And this is my garden.
The reason why the garden is planted the way that it is, is because asparagus requires a lot of room to grow - the crowns need to be planted 2 feet apart from each other and other plants. The same goes for parsley - parsley needs about 9 inches to be in between each of its seedlings. Peas take up a lot of room when they sprout, but they only need to be planted about 4 inches apart. Then I chose to only grow small plots of garlic, onion and dill because they're used more for flavor, so you don't need a lot, and they can grow in small spaces.
